I bet you told her you loved her alot before you married her. My husband couldn't keep his hands off me when we were dating & called me (his woman). I wasn't used to that.

Maybe after we married, he would come home the next morning. He did like to drink. We did stay married over 50 years. My grandmother never believed in divorcing so I stuck with him till the toughest hide wore out.

He passed away with dementia (he had it at least 8 yrs). One good thing he had to quit drinking. The doctor knew he drank but my husband would lie & say he had an occasional beer or wine. So I told the doctor the truth. The doctor said "you can have an occasional beer". The Dr. said "you need to have all the brain cells you can get & alcohol kills brain cells. I didn't know that.

I use to love the taste of whisky, Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey and others. Mostly Jack but couldn't afford it so started drinkin Kessler. Anyway, I decided that I was likein it too much and quit drinkin hard liquor 2 years ago this past January. Haven't had a drop of hard stuff since. Still have a few beers now and then but not ever day like I use to drink whisky. I suppose I still love the taste of whisky so I never drink a drop cause I might not be able to quit again. I don't want to take that chance.
