Body shape is in between and the markings make it difficult to tell. It looks like a potential stripper to me but could also be a wiper. I'm waiting for the experts to help me out too, haha. As for the fish that is a striper. The break in the lines generally indicate a wiper or hybrid but the body contour is absolutely indicative of a striper and I have caught my fair share that don't carry perfect lines.

Arkansas River in Wichita, ks. I’ve heard of stripers being caught out of it, they apparently move up river out of Kaw lake. Pretty neat, looks like they have been spawning. I thought it was a wiper, I don’t see a lot of stripers around here.

Hybrid. Uneven lines. Nice catch.
I'd say wiper. Has more the body shape of a white bass than a striper . . . I think.
It looks like either a white bass or Wiper.
White bass I think also...chunky body
I have caught a bunch of white bass on Santee lakes.
Contrary to popular belief, some stripers have broken lines. Looks like a small striper to me.
The fish is a white bass.
a girlfriend that likes to fish can be good and bad.
