looks like a small mouth. if she would have had her thumb in its mouth holding it up, it would be easier to tell. never knew about the horizontal or vertical lines tho.

looks like a Largemouth to me as well, never seen a smallmouth withour vertical stripes.

The stripe gives it away ! . It's definitely a fish !! Oh Wait ! it's a large mouth !

If u do not no you should some research about common fish in area. It looks like small mouth bass. Good eating if in clean water. Before u go fishing no your fish and the regulations. If not it could get pricey keeping the wrong fish or it being under size look for some nice fines. PLEASE KEEP YOUR FISH IN THE WATER. UNTILL YOU ARE TAKING HOME,OR RELEASE WITH OUT HARM ASAP.
