Welcome to the Forum, rene. If I found one, I wouldn't buy it anyway because it wouldn't be very good. If you have a casting rod that you wanted to put the bait cast reel on, buy a spin cast reel, you can buy a decent one of those for $60.00. It would have the line on it and you would be all set to go fishing.
Rene, a Garcia Black Max will be about $44 thru Amazon, nearly same at Walmart. 4 Stainless ball bearings and an adjustable centrifigal brake, offset handle and star drag. This is a low profile reel. In my book they are quite reliable, plus being a pretty smoothe running reel.
Rene you can buy a Pleuger President for 59.99 from Cabela's. I hear that's a pretty reliable reel for the price.
Abu Garcia is the best one I have used.
Pflueger President spin casts, awesome reals for the money! I have 2 of them for Bass and Trout rods. 8 bearings , smooth action.

I agree with JustRight, load it with some decent line and buy a can of spray reel lubricant. With the right setup, I can cast this reel as far as my $200 reel.
Just because someone is 85, doesn’t mean they can’t handle a baitcaster.

I should have said BlackMax Abu Garcia. That's what happens when your 81 approaching 82.lol
I have Pflueger President reel. It's not a baitcast reel it's a spinning reel. But it's 5 years old and still the best reel I have. It was $59.99. Excellent reel for the money

I don’t know if you have a Big 5 Sporting Goods store by you but I just left the one by me and they had an Ugly Stick combo with baitcast reel for $49.99 and a Black Max rod and reel combo for $79.99.
For the money, you can't beat a simple Zebco 33. Fished with them my entire life and only broke an old during a run of 15+ pound carp one sunny day on the Savannah River. They're readily available, offer a bait click and a "free spool" reverse. They hold as much line as you want, cast smoothly, and adjusting the drag is easy. They never backlash. I've paid much more for "quality" gear, but these little jewels get the job done.
