Hello - looking at charters in Cape May or Point Pleasant to go fishing for tuna and Marlin. Any recommendations for charters or anything I should look for in a charter?

Depends on how many people and how much luxury you are looking for.
You could hop on a big center console, and get there fast, but you're sleeping on a beanbag on the deck, if you're lucky.
Downeasters will be the slowest to get there, Sporties somewhere in the middle with speed, and you might get an actual bunk.
There a ton of good captains, let me know what you're looking for and I can give ya a few names.

It’s 3 of us for right now so maybe one that offers open boats. We’re looking for some luxury - don’t want our head bobbing the whole ride out there (obviously weather permitting).
The 16-22 hour trips probably seem like the most desirable ones but it depends on how long it takes to get out there so we have sufficient fishing time. How much time do you think is usually needed?
Also, would want to keep our catch, assuming we’d get some nice tuna.

24hr is usually the go-to. Takes anywhere from 4-6hr just to get out there.
If you're looking for an open boat and not a full charter, njfishing.com forums are a good starting point. Captains will usually post when they have open boat availability.
Check the sponsors there too, most have websites with dates and other info.
