Been looking for this pic for time, 4/5 yrs ago my grandson and his cousin. Grandson using lite spinning w/8lb line caught this little one and broke net getting it on dock.

This was on Toledo Bend lake at Holly park marina he came running up to cabin all out of breath saying papaw you gotta come and see I caught the biggest fish ever. Another unforgettable memory. Now he's graduated hs and I lost good fishing partner cause now he's jigging for landlocked ladyfish...! go figure. The apple and tree thing lol

That is awesome. You mean he is chasing skirt? At least he will always be a fisherman. In Oregon all carp are bad... But are crab bait. They eat Salmon Eggs.

That is one big Carp! I heard this many, many years ago, that you could hook a guy in his swimming trunk, put him in a pool and you could eventually bring him back to the edge of the pool with an 8 # test line. I have never tried it but it is on my bucket list, anybody what to be my "fish"?

Around that time in his life the skirts will win out every time. If you live long enough though, he will come back and chase fish with you again, and tell you how much he's missed doin it.

I have found it to only be one. If you try to make it 2 or more, they find out about each other and then it's none.
Either that or you get so run down from the activities that you can no longer keep up and your lucky if you end up havin even one left. That's for that age, not after marriage. If you try to have more than one then, you might not live through it.

Now there's a memory not soon forgotten, maybe he'll catch a skirt that likes to fish too.

They make good fertilizer in the garden, just dig a hole and lay the whole thing in.
