It was, however my handle stands for scud runner. Scud clouds are low hanging clouds. I was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and we were known to fly in some questionable conditions to get the job done.

Thank you for the explanation and your service! I was in the Army Guard artillery then but never saw service. We would hook up the 105 howitzers to helicopters.
Flying helicopters in Nam was serious business. Only a little better when you got home. Vets were treated horribly back then. I salute you.
