Beautiful day after cold,rainy recent weather

Hit one of the local waters for a bit on this gorgeous day. Caught 4 skinny 14” bass, 2 nice crappies at 12” and multiple snot rockets of which I’ve not included photos because I’m aware that they induce vomiting in the faint of heart. Threw mostly 3.5 “ Keitechs on a 1/10 oz. Ned head. They seemed to like it better than on a 1/8 oz. Absolutely beautiful day with little wind to stay in contact with the baits.

Had a few earlier Ridley, they’re off the beds now. Don’t like to fish them when they’re spawning.

No DC, at least not in this particular water. They may be on beds in some of the shallower lakes and ponds. In this water they’re just naturally skinny and always look like they’re spawned out.
