It is a highlight of my year for certain sure…..

I believe it.
Hopefully, after we get the Tahoe house sold and the Brentwood house bought. Then the Windsor house sold, I will have a chance to get back to fishin more and have time to do more of what I would rather do instead of lookin after 2 houses on opposite sides of the state.

My brother invites me to Jackson, Wy. every year to take part in his shoveling. I respectfully decline. I, however, AM OLD.😁

I just got back from a week with Jim Sargent and Cindy Harvey at Lake Powell. Of the five days I was there we fished three. Between us we boated 102 fish, mostly smallmouth, we caught some small largemouth, I caught a walleye and Jim caught a dessert plate sized bluegill. We didn’t land any monster sized fish but the time on the water and the ferocity of the fighting smallies is just heart pumping fun!!! I have been blessed to have such friends as this.

Congratulations on having a awesome time together and sharing y’all trips of catching and landscape photos
Glad y’all got back home safe and well.

Our first daughter died at 6 months old. Then we had 2 more girls. So I know what you mean. I think girls are harder to raise than boys. I know you know what I mean.

Awesome pictures and fish Wulffy! I'm so glad you guys had a great time out there. The landscape is surreal in that area. Congrats on the PB Smallmouth πŸ‘πŸ». Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

The lake was 39 feet higher than it was at this time last year. It is rising some but the runoff is not yet in full swing. Lots of folks hoping for a good runoff this year. There was quite a bit of snow on the West Slope but there seems some controversy about whether or not it will actually make it into the streams. Evaporation being a prime culprit…

That is great for the 39’ and runoff is coming.
Lake Amistad on the southern Texas border is 67’ low
I see why I caught fish when the lake was full.
