That is one really nice fish!
If that was me telling the story it would be at least 15# caught in a rain puddle with a piece of hot dog tied to my shoelace.

The nice thing about not weighing it is that it can weigh anything you want and continue to grow over the years. All kidding aside, nice bass.

I would say 7+ based on its girth. It is real hard to say based on a picture, because the perspective can be skewed by camera position and arm stretch. Anyway no matter what it weighs, I would bet you experienced 10 pounds of adrenaline landing it. I hope you turned it loose, to feel the thrill again maybe some future day.

Hi borough,
Nice fish.
Where did you find it in Lancaster SC?
I live on Fishing Creek lake, but I find the Bass fishing is easier on the golf course ponds than the lake.
Take care

I think that says 1.72 kg, or slightly over 4 lbs. I think the bass is in the 7 to 8 lbs range.
