Outstanding fun catch. What fun. You are awesome keeping your cool. As for the rude female, I can't refer to her as a lady, it is what it is. Some people can not be fixed.

Been wonderin bout you.
Good to hear from you.👍

Yes! I’m now working at Graton casino in Rohnert Park, it got a little sketchy there for a few months! I walked away from my custodian job at the school with out thinking I threw, good thing my 10 years experience as a custodian made me a perfect candidate for an opportunity at the casino! I also been wondering about you! It’s good to hear from you! I’m still fishing every chance I get! Heading to Sonoma after work today! Good luck and be safe! 🦞

I just read about Carp - but I've never seen one - at least not that clearly in a photo. Wow, that is a big fish! What is it like to eat?
BTW, hopefully to compliment you, but Santa (that's you) brings gifts that keep on giving...

Carp are vegetarian bottom feeders. They eat vegetation, corn meal, worms 🪱, peas, corn, dough, bread, bagels, etc. Vanilla and anise are their preferred flavors. Yellow is their favorite color. Catch one and post a pic. Check out https://www.carp.com.

Bands: Were you using your usual 2 pound test when you got the 10 pound carp?

Went carping in 70 degree Carnegie Lake this evening during a sunny, cool nor’easter. Threw out a can of corn 🌽 for chum, then caught a 6 lb common carp on my first cast for this year. Then caught a 14 lb common carp on my second cast. After catching a white sucker, I landed a 10 lb common carp on my last cast. As I walked to my car with my rods and bucket 🪣, a young woman went to my fishing 🎣 spot, knocked over my bucket of fish 🐠, then tried to kick the fish back into the lake. I returned before she was successful. NJ people suck. I gave the four fish to Wendy’s. A fisherman from Virginia netted my two biggest fish. I used my last can of whole kernel corn 🌽 from last year.

Very nice catching but when you say you took it to Wendy’s that’s a person and not the fast food chain correct? Because if you took it to our Wendy’s no one there would know what to do with it lol

I give fish 🐠 to people from Ecuador who work at Wendy’s restaurant here in NJ. I’m going to give 1,000 fish to a restaurant starting tomorrow. A few years ago I gave 1,000 fish to a Chinese restaurant.

12 lb test on my Mitchell #300. Today a fish 🐠 stole my three hook rig on my Shakespeare Alpha 50 spinning reel by wrapping the heavy mono around a downed tree.

Looks like a great time fishing. Lot's of heavy fish. Your fishing pole doesn't look like a heavy rod so you must have had a blast reeling them in. Thanks for sharing !!!
As far as other people? Well that is part of the reason I fish out of my yac and in the thickest jungle of grass and pads I can find. Perhaps some people's kids may benefit from being exposed to the wonderful world of fishing and not Video games and or TV.
Other than that looks like you had a fine day with some hefty fish landed. That must have been one full bucket of fish??? Quote "This too shall pass" . You can only control yourself not others🥴. 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏

What do you do with your carp? What does Wendy's do with them?

He said he gives them to people who work at Wendy’s not actually giving them to Wendy’s
