What a blessed day my friend and I shared on good old Kentucky lake. Launched at 5:45 am. Skyline was breathtaking. I think this is the best time to capture that moment. Just seems magical to me. Dusk is another that I soak in to reflect the the day I just experienced. Heading out to a crappie spot I noticed the skipjack chasing shad, birds singing and the stillness of the water. Upon arriving we were greeted by fellow fishermen from Nashville freely offering us valuable fishing information to fill the bounty. That was really appreciated because it payed off. We moved to various spots and before the day ended came back to the same area we first dropped a line. Not one trip goes by that I don’t learn things of the lake. Spider rigging was the tactic used to net some nice crappie. Hits we got were aggressive using small tube jigs and tuffies. Three crappie poles on each side keep us busy. Caught a bunch of shorts(fish under 10 inches). A lot were 9 and 3/4. That was crazy. What a good trip to satisfy that tugg addiction. Hope you fellows enjoy the post.

Glad you like them. They are actually sunrise pics. On lake at 5:45 am.stayed until 7pm. I figure the hour drive to lake and gas motivates me to get the most bang for my buck.
