Nice goin' pborough. I'm no good @ weight estimates, but that is one really healthy looking LM. And, you're correct, it doesn't matter as much as the enjoyment of fishing, and occasionally catching.
Any bass that you can stuff your fist into it's mouth is plenty big.

Looks to me like between 6 and 7lbs! Pretty fat…
Just a guess based on one hanging on my wall that was 6lbs - 8oz.

Nice LM, good catching, pic and info.Going by the carp pic, with a length of 20"s, and weight of 1.72 lbs. I'll guess your bass at around 3 lbs. It does have a bigger belly.

Correction, the scale is set at kg and 1.72 kg = 3.79 lbs., so I’ll guess your bass at 5-6 lbs.
