As you all know I caught some nice Trout yesterday. I made a mess of filliting the big one and just gutted and cut the heads off the rest. They were too big to fit in a pan without it, but would go on a grill just great.
ANNYWAY, I took all the guts, heads and skin and bones out to this stump bout 70 yards out in the forest back of my house.
I walk down the bear trail a ways and then go bout 40 yards off the trail to this big stump .
I put all the pile on that stump and left it ovetnight.
Today I went to check on it and there wasn't a single scrap of anything left there. They must have even licked the stump.πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ‘
Just thought some of you would like to know.
I have a pretty good relationship with them.
They stay outta my house and I leave them alone. Even feed them from time to time.
Haven't seen one this year yet. But I still have all my bear boards down.πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ€

Just be careful Steve. Saw it on the news how bears are breaking windows to get into a house occupied or not they know their food sources.

Watch your back Saw.
No Grizzly around here except me πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

We do have a small population of black bear. Some get rather big.
Had a few cross in front of my truck.

Beautiful animals πŸ‘πŸ‘

That's why I have all the bear boards under all the windows and in front of all the doors too.

Yes, a game camera would be cool, I have one at my house in San Ramon just to see what’s crawling in and out from under my deck (drives my dog crazy cuz she smells them from above the deck), they work good.

I’m with everyone else saw, I’ve seen videos of bears doing all kinds of damage to a house they broke into. I know you are, but be careful!

Hey Saw. I'm sure you know what you're doing after this many years in that place but will second a "Be careful!"

What brand camera you guys have? Would like one for my yard to see what keeps burrowing 10ft holes into my yard from under my neighbors garage. I fill it with a big, heavy stone and it burrows another.

I have been using tactacam X2 trail camera. You can have them set up to send a picture straight to your phone or computer there about 120 bucks. If you want the pictures sent to your computer you will have to set them up through your service so that will cost extra $15 a month or so
