5/1/24 What a difference a tide makes. Not good like yesterday. Low tide not moving . Crappie will probably be hitting a little later today. But I won't be there. Going to Jeff's Tap Room for lunch with Pat. Only five keepers this morning.

Iโ€™m sure you can find crappie hitting within 30 min of your front door. Let me get out my book Iโ€™ll find you a bank spot to try for crappie.

Iโ€™d try Petro it has a lot of shore access. If you can find a bush they should be home. Think about getting the Sportsmanโ€™s connection Northern Ohio fishing maps. It will give you good info on the lakes around you. Thereโ€™s a ton of good fishing near you. The spots they recommend in the book are usually accurate.

The crappie were caught from Marshy Hope Creek in Federalsburg Md. on the Eastern Shore of Md. A long way from Va.

Sir,

Thank you very much. I own more maps there hens teeth, that is the only way to fish a lake or river, that you don't know. Thank you I will get them on Mon when I get my check. Anybody fishing a tournament on Kerr in Va NC border or Lake Gaston, Lake Anna, anything I can help with, I will. I was part owner of a tackle store. And had a business for selling tackle call Tuff Worm Tackle, back then I did mail house orders, an drove to every tackle store from New Jersey to NC. You know before internet. Dating myself.

Nice job J in Cleveland, for helping BR out.

Iโ€™m not a big crappie guy. What time I have goes to the bass.

Nice info Andys. Iโ€™m ignorant of the coast. What does a tide have to do with a freshwater fish like crappie?

Nice looking fish Andy, looks like a productive morning , fishn' ,lunch and maybe more fishn'. That's life in a nutshell!!! Shout-out to J in Cleveland for going the extra mile to help someone out. That's why we love ya my friend!! Look forward to seeing you at the M&G!
Andy I'm not a Tide fisherman but I do understand how water level and color will move fish as locations either fill or drain. Even from a heavy rain. Fish are lazy they won't spend much time just swimming around for fun , it's all about the safety and food . Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ™
