Those were great Wullfy, remember all of them quite. Mom would never give me a nickel to ride the pony though, she argued that we had a real one and that was that.

I remeber all of them. I had the dimmer switch on the floor on several cars. Then i bought one which changed the dimmer switch out for a windshield washer switch. Took me quite a while to learn not to wash the windshield when I needed to dim the headlights. I'll be 76 next month.
Tight lines all. Will be fishing soon.

I remember each n every one GW.
Remember the foot starter button also.
What about vacuum wipers.
Step on the gas n the wipers quit.
All the fun things we grew up with.
The wing vents came in handy for smokers 👍.

Re. the wing vents, we used to call them "butterfly windows" They were better than A/C in the summer - you could point the breeze right at your face, they cleaned off the inside of the windshield better than the defroster and you could get a little air in winter without freezing.

I remember all of these Mike, especially the burn from the slides. We added a little sand for extra speed, added abrasion to the burn. 😆

The grandkids got the biggest kick out of the roll up windows in my 99' S10. The mice took it over and the frame was shot it had to go.... Loved the brites floor switch, especially with stick shift :) Thanks for memories Wulffy!

Hey neighbor! Have a Happy Birthday buddy! Enjoy your posts even though I don't always chime in. Had a busy weekend with a big yard sale at sons house. Tired and sore but thinned out some stuff. My son says that is the last one, but he said that the last time too.lol enjoy your day old friend.

At 75 since 4/30, I remember all of the above. Some provide painful memories but they were happy days. How many of you learned to drive with a 49 Dodge and a 48 Chevy? Now that was fun.

I learned with my grandaddys 1948 Chevy Business Coupe when I was 11 years old. Very rural gravel roads. Any body remember the Business Coupe. And he used it for business. He sold Raleigh goods. They called him the Raleigh Man.

Great old memories that we don't think about anymore. Wonder what the next 50 or so years will be like?

The way things are stacking up, I'm glad I won't be around to find out. Worried for the grandkids though.
