And on the floor in front of the shoe fitters stool was the Brannock device. One for males and one for females. One is for sale on Craigslist Atlanta.

And I still want a glint in my fatherβs eye! I recognized it all. Not bad for a whipper snapper. My last truck with hand crank windows went to the junk yard in 2020.

About six months ago I bought a dimmer switch and roll down windows. They were attached to a Mustang Sports Sprint just like the one I bought new in 1967. What a joy to drive!
Love those Mustangs Wolf. Here's mine

Quite the flood. I looked at a bunch of pictures. Good thing your dad knew alternate routes. The city was inundated.

Remember them all well, stomp that dimmer?!!
I remember my first several cars had the floor dimmer switch. The problem came during the winter when the snow, with ice melt salt in it, would melt onto the switch, eventually locking it in one position with corrosion.

1. Brings back memories of Thom McAnn. Do you remember Snapjacks?
3. hat's an oldie. Nwewr ones charged $0.25.
5. Mine faded away. It was just called a vaccination mark, but nobody ever said what we were vaccinared against. Smallpox judging by the scar.
6. Who was given ice? We were just told to rub dirt on it.
7. High Beam switch. Old joke: Why aren't (insert any group here) allowed to drive new cars at night? Because they keep getting their foot caught in the steering wheel!
9. Clue. Just ask Professor Plum.
