Enjoy your evening with the Mrs. Jimmy, tell her we all said Happy Birthday😊. Cleaning up around the river lot and mowing today. Cleaning up around the Clubhouse tonight for a celebration of life party tomorrow afternoon.
Good luck Fred and anyone else wetting a line today 👍
An update on my good morning. I just checked the rain gauge and found that we got 4 & 4/10's of an inch of rain last night. So glad that we live on top of the hill. Found some big nightcrawlers on the driveway too that we hope to feed to some walleye next week.
Good morning, everyone. 50/62 and cloudy. Well, I’ve kinda been MIA here lately. As some of you know, I’ve been caring for my folks. A couple of weeks ago, Dad had to be hospitalized. He was experiencing hyperactive delirium from a low sodium level caused from pain from a fractured spine. We’re yet to know how that happened but apparently it can happen very easily in an elderly person even from a wrong twist or from a bump. So he spent a week in the hospital and then we decided that with the progression of his Alzheimer’s disease and limited mobility that we should find a memory care facility for him. So I found him a really nice place. There’s only 4 tenants. He’s got a private bedroom and it’s just a regular house. And it’s operated by a mother/daughter. So it seems to be more of a one on one and personal care facility versus the larger ones. So, we haven’t visited him yet. He’ll have been there for a week tomorrow. We felt that we would let him try to settle in and that our presence would possibly distract him and cause him mental/ emotional distress. So I think one of my sisters and I will try to see him today. So I may be in and out here for a while but I’m still around. Hope you enjoy your day…🐟on

You got to do what you got to do Dave. Better care is priority 1 and something we all would not want to go through but in many cases it is inevitable.
Look at it as the roles have been reversed. It’s honoring your Dad who gave up a lot in his life for you back in the day and tending to many of your needs.

Good Friday morning. TGIF!
It's National Pretzel Day. Do you prefer a soft warm Pretzel or a crisp crunchy Pretzel? I like good spicy mustard to dip them in. Some like a cheese sauce. What's your favorite??
39° this morning, heading to 64°. Looks like rain moving in tonight. I'm not sure if we can go 24hrs without rain.. that's OK as long as it's after dark.
We're heading to Wilkes Barre for the weekend. It's the youngest grandson's Birthday. Little bugger is turning 7yrs old.

A New Kind of Car
At the bar, Troy and Plum were talking. “My uncle tried to make a new kind of car. He took the wheels from a Cadillac, the radiator from a Lexus, and tires from a Ford," said Troy.
“What did he get?" asked Plum.
“Two years,” said Troy. 🤪
Have a great day folks!!

I have seen quite a few Dads put away in homes and neglected. I am sure your love will be blessed abundantly.

That’s exactly how I feel about it, Bob. He’s always been there when I needed him. So that’s why I’ll be here for him. It’s just what love and family does or should do, in my opinion…

I have too, Mike. Way too many times. And it really discusses me. I really can’t believe that those people can have a clear conscience. I guess that I’m lucky to have a loving and caring family. And that pertains to the entire family. There are so many families that have issues amongst themselves that tear them apart. It’s truly sad…
