I got an "Infringement Detected" notice on FB today for our Golden Retriever FB page. Unless some dick is messing with us reporting BS, I'm pretty sure it is a phishing scam. Too many people suck!

Just delete it, sounds like fishing to me, if you don't use it then get rid of it, my guess is that you have to sigh up for it, if you didn't sign up for then delete it.

Ignore it, I get this every now and then and it means nothing to me.

I try to delete anything I don't recognize. Years ago I was burned by what I thought was a message from UPS. NOT. The next day I received a message that my computer had been corrupted and that for a fee, the sender could fix my problem. I waited a day too long to get my computer to the someone I thought could make it right. Had I acted immediately, he thought he could have helped. No such luck. My files were gone.

Right there with you Richard. A few years ago the wife received a message from who she thought was her cousin. Had his email address, signature line and everything looked legit.

Only hinky thing to the email he was asking for $ 400.00 that he had fallen on tough times. When she responded with a message to who she assumed was her cousin, the hacker got all her contacts info and a message NOT from her to the same request to all her contacts.

Quite the hassle getting that all cleared up.

Did you check the email address of the sender? You can use that to determine if it is legit or not. For example, if you use apple iCloud you have a 5GB limit. If you exceed that, you will either need to delete stuff or buy more storage or something will stop working.

Apple emails will have apple.com or iCloud.net endings. I would check this before clicking on any link.

My opinion is that this is a phishing email trying to get personal information from you. Apple has an iCloud+ service, not a cloud+ service.
