Well it's getting about that time of year for me to start fishing again was wondering if anyone's fishing Fort Myers Florida or around the area where might be a good place to go and what are the fish biting on if not I'll find out the hard way or really not that hard to fun way.
Boat or beach? On the beaches, pompano bite is still on and trout/reds are there, with snook in close. Check out the passes to the south early AM or Bowditch Point. Sanibel/Captiva (toll), try the beaches (Blind Pass or anywhere you can get to the beach EARLY (parking fills up fast). Also heard that the Matlacha pier is open. Boat, grass flats, oyster bars, or near structure. Just get out there!
