What I’ve heard on here, spinners are working really well
Fish the upper lake. I use a Johnson’s silver minnow with a single weedless hook. I put a 3-4” action tail grub on the hook. You want weedless because many of the best spots have weeds that can foul up almost every cast, or rocks on the bottom that catch your hook, so weedless helps prevent that. I caught about 20 pike in the far end (shallow end) of the lake this past Tuesday. All were small to medium size for pike. I would say you need to fish a bit deeper for bigger ones this time of year.
Thanks Tlattie, sounds like great advice. I’ll be up there next week. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!!!

Oh, and use a leader because those sharp teeth go right through regular line.

Catching alot of Pike and Walleye at Lake Mary in the last month. Use shiny minnow looking Crankbaits around weed beds.

Good looking pike...and nice walleye too! Gotta love a pike...great ambush predators!
