Went out from Poplar Creek today and kept 21 Shell Cracker and bream. This one was the biggest at 1.50 pounds.

Hay Florida I have good luck with jumbo mealworms for shell crackers. I order them by the 1000 from rainbow mealworms out of California. I keep them in brand meal from the feed store and I have a small like collage refrigerator I use to keep bait in.

I think the best bait for shellcrackers are red worms or crickets.
