It was a great day on the lake today.
I found huge schools of crappie on brush piles and bridges from 17 to 38 feet deep.
I believe that the spawning is done because of the huge concentration of crappie on the cover.
They hit three colorโs today , pink, lime green and natural shad.
They favored the shad jig over others.
I just had to take a few screenshots.
My favorite time of the year to fish for crappie is after the spawn.
I lost count but I know I caught over 50 in just a half day.
