Diamond valley lake is doing good on dropshot right now. Bass are moving up for the spawn. Lot's of big fish cruising the shallows. Water is crystal clear, you can see 20ft down.

Nice! I will have to try this Pyramid Lake. I have been to the Pyramid Lake in Nevada, just north of Reno, and I LOVE that lake! HUGE Lahontan Cutthroats in there and I always catch some 30" trout there!

Don't go until it warms up. I went this morning and not even a bite but when the weather gets warmer there's always gonna be a good day of fishing

Bummer that you did not get a bite. Were you going after bass or trout? When my brother and i went out, it was 65 degreed, like it was today. Probably just as windy.

Going for anything I can catch lol. I think the water is to cold. Probably would have caught something if I stayed longer

Probably :-) Trout love cold water and are up top chasing baitfish. Bass are pre-spawn so they are moving into the shallows right now. :-) Hopefully you can get out again and catch something :-)

Many times. Never caught more than a 2 lb'r but hundreds of smaller bass. I've had days there where we'd catch 30 small bass. It's a fun.lake and I know there's good fish in there. Haven't been back since it was last drained because of the mussels. Have fun. Go in the summer and you can swim.

Awesome! We will have to give it a try from our kayaks. Thanks for the info!
