That's EXACTLY why I hardly EVER go fishin unless I can stay as long as I want to.
I hate it when people say "I gotta be off the water by (such and such) time."
Well, then we'll go fishin together on another day when you have nothing else to do but GO FISHIN !
He catches a bass of a lifetime an hour AFTER the time "I gotta be off the water by 3pm".
That's EXACTLY why I hardly EVER go fishin unless ... (show quote)

Agreed unless it's my daughter! I'll do anything to get her out there with me.

Congrats. I fished saguaro for most of 38 yrs living there. Never caught a double digit.
Have caught some nice 4&5 lb smallies though.
Way to go. Send picture to bass masters 10 lb club.

Took my buddy fishing last week at Bartlett but we just had two dinks. Got him back on Saguaro today to see if we could do any better. He out fished me. Check this one out. Catch of a lifetime! 10.4 lbs.

Today I caught two drinks on a crawdad jig across from the boat doc on thos points and coves across from that boat access only rec area. Then I trolled in the river with small crankbait and caught a decent bass and several yellows. Around 5pm Sag comes alive. I fished larger cranks in multiple spots (points, rocks, reefs, and ledges until dark. I was just about the only boat on the lake. All in the back lake...not fishing at all in the main lake.

I release everything but I might start keeping the yellows for tacos! He released the 10 pounder, but he kept a couple 4-5 pounders.
