They are all channel cats. I cut from right behind the dorsal fin to just behind the anal hole down to the bone and slide back to the tail. Leaving the skin attached. Then I flip that section over and slide the knife down under the meat to skin it. I need to take a video next time to post it. Hope this is understandable Florida.

Second chapter to my trip yesterday. Got back to the boat ramp and the motor would not trim up all the way. Just enough to get it home. Tried to figure it out but had me stumped. It would not go up or down all the way. Called my mobile mechanic and he asked if I hit anything. I said only rough water. The shaft on my trim and tilt had sheared off and bent like a banana. He took it off the boat and is working on it. Have a look.

That must have been some heavy surf you were fighting...wow

Not sure what caused it Mike but going to cost $1200.00 to fix it.

Went to Lake Moultrie from Black's Fish Camp. Started fishing 8:15 and finished at 9:45. Wind picked up and it started to white cap. Got 10 nice ones before the wind chased me away.

That's really a nice catch Gordon I'll be glad to get out there soon myself.

That is a lot of catching in such a short time Gordon. Way to go and keep those lines tight

Good sounding day for you Gordon, glad you had some fun and got a few before the wind got bad.

Nice ones Gordon and very nice fillets! Sorry about your motor damage, especially a mystery how it happened. Good luck.
