I need prayers from you all. Myrna left Thursday evening, and I donāt know when or if sheāll be back. This is the sixth or seventh time she has done this, but only the first time sheās ever actually TOLD me she was leaving. She said she āneeded some spaceā, and was going to stay at a hotel or somewhere for a few days and ādecide what to doā. Said sheād pick up some meds for our dog at the vet and stop by with them on Saturday.
At about mid-afternoon, she showed up with a Sheriffās Deputy and our daughter and SIL. Loaded up a bunch of her stuff, and our dog, and left.
She has a long history of lying, for no reason mostly, other than a few bad decisions sheās made, and Iām a stickler about honesty, so usually when I catch her in a lie, I get angry.
Iāve never laid a hand on her or anything like that, but that doesnāt stop her from telling everyone (including the Sheriff apparently) that sheās āafraid of meā. This cycle of leaving - returning has been going on since 1985, three years after we got married. The last time she left (about 5 years ago) she filed for divorce, but came back, just before the divorce was final, when I kept begging her to.
Her dishonesty and deceit is what nearly all our āfightsā are about.
She admits ( most of the time) to lying but acts like she canāt help it. Weāve been to professional counseling numerous times - together, separately, and group, over the years (plus LOTS of praying) but it still seems to only help temporarily. She admits to lying all the time, but blames me for it.
99/100 of her lies are over absolutely meaningless, trivial things that are of no consequence, or would be better if the truth were told.
Anywayā¦ please pray for us, if you will. I know there is nothing too big for God. Iāve tried all I know to try, and everything has failed. I believe it was Godās intervention that caused her to come back five years ago, and Myrna agreed and promised she would NEVER leave againā¦
Thanks for your prayers yāall. šš»

You got it Randy, prayers for the both of you are on the way and in the days to come until I see a outcome from this disarray your life is in at the moment.
My only thought for today is St Patrick's Day. Corn beef and cabbage. Yum yum

Thank you so much, Bob. Up until last Sunday, I thought we were doing very well. Our daughter Kelliās birthday was on Tuesday. Wednesday, Myrna was showing me a picture of the balloons and decorations that their kids put up for her birthday. I was holding the phone, with my finger thru the ring on the back, when a text came through from Kelli. Myrna was standing beside my chair, looking over my shoulder and saw the text on the screen. She grabbed her phone and jerked it out of my hand so hard, the ring bruised my finger. I asked her what the text was and why she didnāt want me to see it.
She made up a story, which was obviously a lie. (No reason for yanking the phone away from me, and a familiar guilty look on her face) She quickly admitted she was lying, but refused to tell me what the text said.
I already knew the two of them had been talking about something since last Sunday, when they came over to our house. Then she started telling one lie after another to cover up the first lie, just like she always does. Oh well - TMI
Thank you for your prayers and I will keep you updated as I hear whatās going on. Right now

Randy, I am going to send an email later this morning your way. After sleeping on what I read yesterday and read today, it would be best to converse more privately by way of email for me.

You got my prayers Randy. She needs to find peace in her life and help for her mental state. God can intervene if that is best for her. Praying that you can have peace with the outcome and that your love is sufficient to get you both through this.
