Welcome to the family Sergeant Major, we have a great bunch of people here that loves to fish, hunt, and just chat about anything interesting in our lives, so as far as bass fishing around Ocala I don't fish up that way I'm down around Sebring and theirs lots of lake here to catch big bass ๐ฃ If you get a chance to go to silver springs you must go it's a clear blue Florida spring that is unbelievable, take the glass bottom boat tour ๐ I worked at Avon Park Air Force Base as their license electrical contractor and my sidekick was a State Command Sargent Major and he had worked there for over 40 years and still working there even after he retired, as a civilian ๐ you may know him, I'll PM you with some information about fishing, and we do like pictures of your catch ๐๐ฃ๐
And be sure ti check in with Plumbob. He keeps a list of all vets.
Welcome and again, thank you very much for your service.

Thank you for your service and welcome to the stage. You have lots of places to fish -fresh and salt . Donโt waste a day. I was born in Fla an lived there for 50 of my 71 years. I just booked a campsite for April at a SC state park. Going to bass fish at Santa Cooper Lake . I hope the weather is better this time. Lots of great people here. Bobby from NC.

Bobby, which camp ground are you staying at?
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. A group of 4 Veteran friends and I rent a beach front house on St George Island in early November every year and fish the bay during the day for weakfish, Sheepโs head, sea trout, flounder and reds. At night we fish the beach for monster Reds. In May we rent a cabin at a Georgia state park on Lake Eufaula called Florence Marina. Really hoping to find a place to fish on the St Johnโs chain not too far from here. If anyone knows of a place to go not too far from Ocala, let me know!
