I saw this on line it was close by . He said that the motor last ran in October but acted like the carbs needed cleaning. For 800 figure some time and a little money haha it’ll be a good boat 87 17’ 85 merc.
It will give 2’ more boat and little more speed.

Looks like a good buy Harold. Love the vintage flasher. Good luck with her, and keep us posted on the restoration.
Nice buy for the price. Clean the carbs and see where your at!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I certainly don't need another boat but for that price heck yeah 👍👍

Looks like a good boat and sounds like it should run with a little love. Enjoy 👍

GREAT DEAL BUDDY--GOOD LUCK AND --TIGHT LINES.
The trailer is worth 800 bucks.
I run a 1994 Ranger 374v I bought in 2006. Over the years I have replaced the 150 XRi with a Yamaha 150 SHO 4 stroke, the Motorguide 12/24 troller with a new Minnkota Fortrex, new electronics fore and aft (it had an in dash hummingbird flasher that worked when I bought it.). New carpet is next. You can do a lot with an old boat. Treat them right and they will last forever.
Some years back, I bought a fixer upper with an 85 HP Merc on it. It was an enjoyable project, and I still have that boat.
Thank y’all for the positive feedback
