Iโ€™m so thankful for the outcome for this young manโ€™s experiences and readily accept that it was directed by powers that some do not and refuse to believe in.
One question why start such a controversial conversation during this glorious outcome?
Just asking.

In God we trust
One nation under God
America, America God shed your grace on thee
A few that came to mind.

This was wonderful news. Will continue to pray for Esra 's quick complete recovery. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š
I have a old friend who had heart surgery as a child. It opened a whole new world for him. He is in his late 70 s now and still can't slow him down.

Itโ€™s amazing how having faith and believing and placing trust in our lord savior will open windows that some believe cannot be opened.
Thanks for your input.

There are those among us who believe that prayer is hooey and a waste of time. Not so myself. Ezra is out of surgery. The operation went perfectly according to the surgeon. The donor valve is a little larger than Ezraโ€™s heart so he will be able to grow into it and if he does need further work it will be in maybe 20 to 30 years. Everything is functioning normally and as soon as the anesthetic wears off mom will be allowed to see him and pictures will follow. Our gratitude goes beyond expression. Thank you Stage family. Once again my life is blessed by being part of this.

Good news. Since the consensus of opinion seems to be prayer healed this young man, I have a question. I won't list all the people here but if prayer heals people, why did my friends and family die? There were plenty of prayers for them. Btw, saying we don't know why strikes me as a convenient non answer when people don't have one.

I suspect I opened a Pandora's box here but that's okay. I can handle the responses.

GH.... food for thought my friend but, nobody can really answer your question. The religious rhetoric is only meaningful to those that spew it. But, let me share my perspective... my spiritual maturation has led me to a place where I could present so many arguments to cause many people to question their religious beliefs. I choose to keep my mouth shut. What kind of man would I be in taking away from someone something that brings them so much comfort and significance in their lives? Be at peace with what others believe. Find your own path to a place you can hold your head high and have your own peace. Understand that others speak their beliefs to you because they are taught to do so. And always remember the words you hear are spoken and written by man, not God. When and if He should speak, you will know!

Steve, I am intrigued with your statement. Would you care at some point to open a dialogue with me on a personal level in the interest of furthering my own learning and knowledge?? If so PM me and we might set something up. I am always seeking to learn, especially in this area.

Steve, do you believe the Bible is true, and is, in fact truly the inspired word of God, as it says it is?

Sorry guys but my beliefs are personal and earned over 67 years. My parents raised me in a strict Christian environment and I later completely dismissed religion. I later came to learn the Bible in a different way to the point I was a full blown thumper. As I continued to mature and experience life it became crystal clear that the Bible is not the Word of God. So clear is this to me that I only have to ask one question that nobody has ever been able to answer that would change my mind. I do not claim there is no value to the Bible and religion. For that reason I've already said way more than I generally do. I simply encourage everyone to seek their own spiritual journey with critical thinking and an open heart. And this is my final word on the subject. Thank you.
