Hey commander. Have u ever thought about posting fishing related topics? Micky ,Donald , broken bones, Latin language? Just my opinion. Thought this is a fishing site. Over 90 percent of your posts have nothing to do with fishing! I’m but please let’s be honest here. your intention is well grounded . honest think that folks on a fishing web site are interested in Micky, Donald Duck and bone structure? Post something about fishing! Just did a survey of the lasted posts on the FISHING STAGe site. For the last month. You are plowing away my friends! For the last month over 65% of our current posts have nothing to do with fishing. Read them and tell me if I’m wrong my friend! When I joined two years ago, it was a great site! Now at least fifty percent the new topics on a daily basis havenothing do with fishing! Based on the responses I’m sure that many folks enjoy it! I’m sure you are a good man, but it’s a fishing web site Time to go watch cartoon!!!!

Hello stagers,
I just read a interesting article about what bone are you most likely to break. It said the Clavicle or the shoulder blade. The reason for this is that it is the closest bone to the surface of the body with no muscle tissue surrounding it.
That makes sense and yes I have broken my Clavicle while playing football, but I have broken my toes numerous times. I don't often wear shoes when inside.
What bones have you broken? Both major and minor breaks.

Let's see, broke left forearm, both bones, falling off bike as a kid. Left leg, high-school football game, two vertebrae, car accident, boxers fracture of every knuckle on both hands, boxing in my early 20s, many toes, finding furniture in the dark, several cracked ribs, auto racing crash. I also tried to break my head on car hoists over the years as a mechanic, never broke it but had concussions a few times. And now I have torn a rotator cuff in both shoulders.

Toes, fingers, lower leg, cranium, I think most people have broken quite a few bones.
But, were they done doing fun stuff or just being a clutz like mine.

A couple fingers, left forearm, left wrist, nose, a bone in my right hand, left little toe, left ankle, 3 or 4 ribs. I think that covers it.

Well I've never broken a bone but I did chip a piece off my right wrist. Severely effected my casting. Doc took it out and did a tendon release on My wrist.

Now my son has broken about 20 and he's 53 years old. Many fingers and toes. Most serious was right femur and turned his leg around backwards..then broke again years later. Ya know it only takes only 6 pounds of pressure to break a femur?

As far as fishing goes, the injury that bothers me the most is not a broken bone, but a separated shoulder and tendonitis in my elbow! But I broke my leg before!!

Welcome to the Stage Jeff. Nagging byproducts of injuries like that can be frustrating as hell. Thanks for joining us here. Looking forward to your input…

Just a point of fact. The clavicle isn't the shoulder blade, it's the collarbone.

That is all.

In my younger days I used to rodeo, have fractured 13 ribs in a span of about 4 years.

Here's something to know about your clavicle: When I was a fireman, one of the guys broke his collarbone by trying to bust open a door with his shoulder the way they do it on TV. Your shoulder is attached to your body only by your collarbone and your shoulder blade. The shoulder blade isn't attached to anything else, just embedded in muscle. So attacking a door with your shoulder is a BAD idea.

Yep! Just like the actors NOT having their fingers on the trigger as they burst in.
