Maybe, emphasize MAYBE, there are just times God says no and we must trust that He has our best interests at heart. Keeping always in mind that this is not home. We are all just passin’ thru.😊

If I hear a loud NO come from the sky Mike, I sure not going to try and argue the point.

There are those among us who believe that prayer is hooey and a waste of time. Not so myself. Ezra is out of surgery. The operation went perfectly according to the surgeon. The donor valve is a little larger than Ezra’s heart so he will be able to grow into it and if he does need further work it will be in maybe 20 to 30 years. Everything is functioning normally and as soon as the anesthetic wears off mom will be allowed to see him and pictures will follow. Our gratitude goes beyond expression. Thank you Stage family. Once again my life is blessed by being part of this.

Thanks for the update and happy to hear good news. I am a personal example of the power prayer. After CATSCAN in Oct 2022 while looking for kidney stones I was dianosed with CAD, thickening bladder wall (potential cancer) and other less significant issues. Family and friends put me on prayer lists immediately. After followup PETSCAN, ECHOCARDIOGRAM and Cysoscopy the only treatment required was increased cholesterol medication. In late Jan of this year on routine visit to dermatologist, he found spot on abdomen and took slice specimen for biopsy. It was melanoma. Had surgery one week ago to remove any residual of the spot and also three lymph nodes to check for potential spread. Biopsy results came back on Monday - no cancer, no further treatment.

After being smothered in prayers on both occasions, and after a lifetime of seeing its effects in other people, I am assured that prayers work and that God is real!!

Wonderful news! Well said! Praise God! Kudos to you for asking for prayers!
God gave us free Will. Whenever Jesus healed a person He would ask—what do you need? Even though He knew. Prayers are a pathway to Gods healing.
Philippians 4:6

Another question Jesus asked almost all of those (except the one who reached out and touched his robe) he healed was, “Do you believe?” I believe this question holds an important principle, as well as a condition. We MUST have faith that our prayers will be answered, in order to get results. 🙏🏻

Good news. Since the consensus of opinion seems to be prayer healed this young man, I have a question. I won't list all the people here but if prayer heals people, why did my friends and family die? There were plenty of prayers for them. Btw, saying we don't know why strikes me as a convenient non answer when people don't have one.

I suspect I opened a Pandora's box here but that's okay. I can handle the responses.

I, and others, have
answered this question of yours before when you asked. You obviously were not satisfied with our answers then, and will not be if we answer you again. In case I’m wrong, please go back and review your posted questions, and our posted answers, as well as my devotions that are still available. All the answers we have given you over the past 4 years, are still the same. You just have to believe.

I appreciate your thoughts Mike. To each his own. Not to be critical of your response because I appreciate it, my question remains unanswered. The only response I've ever received has been "it's God's will." So much for free will if it's God's will. Is it his will that millions of people around the world are starving and homeless? (Just a rhetorical question if you don't want to answer). Have a great week.

I must correct you, Greg - that is NOT the only response you have ever received. Maybe “I don’t remember” would be more accurate/truthful. I have posted an answer( more than once) to your question, and so have others! As I said, look them up.

Randy, I have Faith and have had it for 73 years, but also understand that the answers may not come in a time period that we want while we are here on this planet.

Thus the un answered prayers.

Wulffy, this message warms my pome'n heart no end. I've shared some about our journey to where we are now, but when I hear of or see non-believers, I always wish they could've witnessed some of the stuff my bride and I encountered, then have em explain some of that stuff that happened. We had so many prayin for us as we went through the roughest of it over the course of a couple of years, and now, 3 years later, we STILL prayerfully thank God for getting us through it, bringing us the right people, hanging on to us when we thought we'd fall. So glad to read this positive report on Ezra. Please keep your Stage family updated. 👍🙏❤️

Greg: You could start with DEVOTION #12 &
DEVOTION #21
Read these two devotions, and watch the two video messages.
When you complete that, go to your “post history” and find where you asked this same question.(there will be more than one)
Then hit the # in the upper right corner it it will take you to the thread and you can find my answer and others. Repeat same procedure for each time you have asked this same question.

Maybe it's not the prayer...but the surgeon. Just offering a counterpoint of view.

Just perhaps the surgeon is receiving inspiration and guidance from the Divine as a result of prayers prayed.
