awesome job sir! did that come as a dual console or did you build one for the passenger? I've got an '83 Mr. Pike and it is a single side console. One on her side would make it nice. great job on the resto!

This model came with the dual console and the bench seats in front of them.

That's it for sure. Mine's in primer right now. I'm waiting for it to warm up a little so I can put some fresh paint on the sides. thanks for the brochure pic.

Great Job. I like the vintage Evinrude 70.

Thanks. Like I said earlier I had a new power head put on it almost 2 years ago and now it starts right up and is almost as quiet as a 4-stroke. It took me awhile to get the fuel/oil mixture right. The thing about having to much oil is that the mosquitoes don't bother us.

Hey, I am sure that old Johnson has plenty of power for you. BUT, unless you have a buddy or a small area, time does tell on anything mechanical. Ask the Pilgrims. GREASTEST OF LUCK!!

Wow!!
I used to rehab old fishing boats some years back. Health stopps it now. I would use them for about 2 years then sell it and start a new one. Never lost money but on my very first launch and sink boat when I was as green as grass about boats.
Awsome job that's one rig to be proud of!!!!

Thanks Gregg, Sam and all who took a look. I started this last refurbish last October and worked on it a little at a time. Having physical limitations I look at it all as therapy, so the name of our boat is The Therapy Room though I have not got the new decals yet to put on the boat. I am fortunate to have a local sign company who were able to duplicate the original logos from 1983 as Lund boats do not keep any records or specs for their older boats.

This is a pictorial account of my 1983 Lund American Super Pike restoration and upgrades. There were two intermittent upgrades that I have skipped to get to this most recent completion. This includes new carpet, particle board changed to oak, a reconfigured dashboard, new live well and new seats. There are many more pictures but hope these are enough to give you an idea of what all has been done.

Nice job. Did you have any pinholes that require repair? What did you use? My next restoration projects is a 1975 Gregor with lots of pinholes.
