The wheels were donated from my self- propelled push mower. Not using that thing again. Rolls along pretty good next step is a cable to lock it in the truck bed , might be a tad too prettyπŸ€ͺπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

Looks like you’re ready for production. You’ll just have to figure out what your time is worth.

It's done, fits nicely on my yac and rolls very nicely. As some of you noticed last year at the Eagle I had to pull/ slide my yac over grass to get it into the water and back to my truck. Problem solved. It doesn't break down to fit in the yac however the wheels come off very easily to make it a little more compact. I plan on leaving it in the truck after using it so that's not an issue. Pulled it around the yard some and with the strap on it doesn't move. Can't wait to try it out. I've got a few places around home waters that this will help with where I have to park and launch. I'll get some blue pool noodles once the Dollar Tree sets them out for the season. πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

Nicely done Andy! I like the way it centers in the ribs in the bottom of the Yak. Should keep it stable even over a bit of rough stuff. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks Doug, it's really easy to load also ,it sorta just centers itself when you let the yac down on it and by moving it ahead or back I can adjust it to whatever weight I add such as my crate, and motor by just moving the yac forward or backwards before placing all the weight on it. And you don't have to tip the yac to one side just pick up the nose and swing it over the carrier. It starts out looking a little strange but this pic shows the apx. Location of where I position it before picking the front up. And of course one the strap is tightened it will keep it from sliding or bouncing around. I appreciate your comment ,see ya at the Eagle DougπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

Good morning Andy. Did you consider carpet or Teflon strips instead of the noodles.

Very nice trolly rig you've come up with Andy! Fun to imagine a project out of items you already have on hand!

Plum, I have considered carpet but I tend to use what's available at the time around my shop once I get going so time and usage may very well dictate another course but at this time pool noodles are it. They compact nicely and hold well. I use them for my tie down straps on the yac trailer. They hold up very well and are waterproof. Just found two blue ones yesterday for $ 1:00 each at DG yesterday. I'll put them on today. Thanks for the suggestions. πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™

Free is good Andy and know what you mean using what is right there in front of us.

I switched from carpet to Teflon on my Sea Pro back in the day. Made it a lot easier in and out of the water. Not that you have the weight like the Sea Pro had, so just a suggestion if you ever come across the strips they work well.

I hear ya fishyaker; sometimes stuff ( junk in some people's eyes) sits around for quite awhile then an idea explodes in your head and you get the zoomies rooting around and figuring on how one might go about making this work . Like putting a puzzle together , that's the fun of it . Being able to see beauty in things that most would seem as useless junk also reminds me of why I work with people with Mental Health Challenges. The beauty and usefulness are there one just needs to recognize it for what it is. Most people don't like getting mud on themselves ------------ until you get a bee sting!!!. Right. πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

Well said! Frogs beware once you get to start the lily pad season on the bass! I think your body will thank you as well...saving you from having to muscle the kayak around in the old ways....
