The bottom is kinda a pretty little fish, the top one not so much.
Yeah I think the top one might be a whiting but don’t have a guess on the second one, yes they do have some pretty colours and I had a double on them, reminded me of Lake Erie perch fishing, always catch doubles when we went there..
I also think it’s a pretty little fish. What did you do with them?
Kinda looks like a croker and a pinfish
The top fish is what we call a Sucker. He sucks up what he eats with ugly lips. The second fish is a small Bream.
Second looks like Salt water too me
He says he caught in fresh water. A poor unfed stunted growth Bream will look like the fish he caught. Big frame but no body.

That is a croaker on top and pinfish on the bottom, both are saltwater fish. Under his shoes, you will find a beach. Someone is trying to put the shi! on us but I don't want to mention names.

Welcome to the Forum, Mctrapper. Nice try! I forgot to mention that there was a forceps in your hand and a big grin on your face.
top is croaker, the bottom is a pinfish
Croakers do not have lips like a sucker.
