I will be heading down to Havasu soon and would like to do a little CandR. I walked around the dock out at site 6 last year. Is that a good area? As a kid in havasu(40 years ago) we never caught anything at site 6. We had our secret coves around the island and on the river around Havasu.
So, is there a good place to catch anything now a days? I don’t even care if it’s carp!
Big carp in the channel on the Thomson bay side if you just c & r could have some fun. Plus even the stripers swim thru there now and then.

Thanks. Do you mainly fish for stripers? Maybe that would be better for me to target
as spring gets closer the area around Neptune wash get active. If you forge the brush there are some great Stiper and large mouth for C&R..
landed a 7lb LM in early March last year at the fishing dock there.
