Interesting to note that even more were fed. Back then they counted men and didn’t include women and children.
In John 21, when Jesus told the disciples to try the other side of the boat, they didn’t know it was Him but they did it anyway. This shows the difference between The Lords provision and The Lord giving us the power to get wealth.
When the disciples reached shore Jesus had fish on the fire and bread ready (provision) and asked for some of their fish. If they hadnt listened to Him and tried the other side they would have still eaten. With their fish added they had a feast. (Wealth)
This also speaks of giving. Out of their wealth (fish) they gave to The Lord and when you think about it received a return on their giving.

Here's something I say to nonbelievers as well as believers when quoting John 3:16. I substitute the person's name for the world. For example,
God so loved Commander Bell that he gave his only begotten son. That whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have ever lasting life.
Some day I'll post, in The Attic about " A boy named Charley ".
I'll have to post it there because it deals with the tragic life of a young man and the the day that he died.

Have you ever wondered why you are compelled to do something you know is wrong, even though you may be caught, and there will be a penalty, fine, or both? Have you stopped to think about the author or instigator of those dangerous impulses? Could they possibly be planted in your mind by the Prince of Darkness?

In ancient times, Satan and God debated the difference in ‘right’ and ‘wrong’! Satan was found guilty of attempting to usurp the Glory and Honor due to God only. Finally, Satan was so insistent on sharing the powers, that due to his craving the honors and powers due God alone, God banished him and his coworkers out of Heaven, and they were sent to Earth.

At one time, as recorded in Job, Satan and God had a conversation about Job’s love of God. Satan maintained that if God stopped being so good to Job, and would let Satan test Job, he would curse God to his face! God was so confident in Job’s faith; that he allowed Satan to test Job to determine whether Job would turn against God.

On Earth, Satan had almost unlimited power. God allowed him to give Job some very painful tests to determine whether he would still believe in God even when he was painfully tested. In the end, Job passed the tests.
Though Satan was defeated by Job’s faith, it did not change Satan’ mind about the rest of humanity.
Due to the sinful nature of mankind, somehow or another the only way the debt of sin could be paid was for the Son of God to be cruelly sacrificed on the cross. And it happened, the Lord God agreed to this final cruel test.

Now, in the privacy of their own lair, not one of the demonic crowds believed that God would allow such a brutal and serious test to take place. How could a merciful God allow his Son to come to Earth, live, and be killed on the cross? Even if it would defeat the wishes and hope of the Demonic world, none believed it would ever take place.

Why would an all merciful, all-knowing God allow his only Son to be cruelly treated and hung on a cross to die as painful death as could be imagined? To the surprise of all, that is exactly what God allowed to happen! And how could Jesus, knowing what was to happen, accept it?

Regardless of your age, education or family, everyone will be held accountable. All those who reject God’s plan will face a final judgement. Unbelievers will be turned over to Satan and his crew to do with as they please. All those who accept Christ’s offering of life for Eternity will be with him and all the redeemed. I am afraid that mankind cannot imagine what either Heaven or Hell will be like, but both will be for Eternity. If you have read this, it is up to you and your decision what will be your final destiny. Do not take this lightly or flippantly!

Everyone has a Holy Bible in English; it is time for you to begin cramming for your final examination! Just Sayin…RJS
Have you ever wondered why you are compelled to do... (show quote)

Further thought—- Satan would have you believe that he is equal to God. The truth is he’s just a fallen angel.

Are you sayin that none of us can put our faith and trust in Jesus. That he lived and DIED for OUR sins so that we may be forgiven, redeemed and reconciled to the Father.
ALL of us are guilty of sin. But those that believe that Jesus died for our sins and put our faith and trust in Him. And that He is the Son of God and sits at Gods right hand, "Shall be saved."
Just because we're saved doesn't mean that we don't sin anymore. We all continue to sin. However, we know it's wrong and we continually ask for forgiveness and try to repent.
"No one comes to the Father except through the Son."
Without your belief in Jesus you will not see heaven. That is what we're sayin is the right choice, not that we never sin again. Those are wrong choices BUT we can be forgiven for those.

Where do your ideas of GOD,Jesus come from? What purpose is the knowledge of GOOD/EVIL??

We are not our bodies,we are not our thoughts,we are not our emotions,we are spiritual beings experiencing a human existence...for most it is a living HELL on earth.

Have you ever read the Bible? If you have I don't understand how you could ask that question.
If you haven't, maybe it will enlighten you and you can see what several of us have tried to share with you.
I have found that one believes what one CHOOSES to believe.
Joshua 24:15
"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."😊🙏

How does flesh serve spirit?

Flesh doesn't serve sprit. The Holy Spirit dwells inside us and is at constant battle with our flesh.
Therefore, our spirit serves the Spirit. But our spirit battles against our flesh.
Colossians 3: 3-5
"Your old self has died, and your new life is kept with Christ in God. Yes, Christ is now your life, and when He comes again, you will share in His glory.
So put everything evil out of your life: sexual sin, doing anything immoral, letting sinful thoughts control you, and wanting things that are wrong. And don't keep wanting more and more for yourselves, which is the same as worshiping a false god."

Following Christ isn't easy and being a Christian doesn't mean that you never sin again. It just means we do our best and when we fail and fall short of the glory of God, we can be forgiven.
Romans 3:23 " For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Finder, we are not saying that flesh serves the spirit, but the opposite, flesh serves the world. Faith serves the Spirit. and the Spirit is Christ Jesus.

Good job explaining this, guys. We ARE spiritual beings, living in a fleshly/
carnal body; but someday we will be changed and be like Him.

”But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.“
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

”What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man. It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.“
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭46‬, ‭49‬, ‭52‬-‭53‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It’s all there, in the Bible, and it WILL HAPPEN. (Soon, I believe) Believe it or not… 🙏🏻

I'm just tryin to convey what I believe. NOT tellin anyone else THEY have to believe this.
However IF you want to go to heaven, then I hope I have at least pointed you in the right direction.

It doesn't HAVE to start be readin the Bible, but it sure helps.
