Brought back memories of my Brother in law bringing Lobster and Halibut home and leaving in buckets in my sink.

Yes. A buddy and I did a liveaboard scuba dive trip to Catalina a bunch of years ago. You catch the lobsters (well, try to) by hand. Dive at night, bring on board and the captain cooks them right then and there. Spiney lobsters good eating

1 1/4 —1 1/2 pounders? 130 at the store in season. Over 200 off season. I have two granddaughters who eat like birds but they eat lobster like men. We have lobster fest weekends in season.

Well, I think they were close to 2 pounders. Don't think I'd try to hand catch them if the had claws! Lol. It was an awesome night. We ran out of air and had enough to inflate our BCDs and dog paddle on our backs to the boat. We ate, had an adult beverage and hit the rack

Are y'all settin traps for them?
I know they dive for them too, don't they?

Yes they do dive for them as well. It’s a lot more fun to me to go hunting for them under the rocks!! I used to go on a nice dive trip out of Santa Barbara. Spear fishing and also going for Scallops

I was watching some vids the other day and a family was snorkeling and harvesting bay scallops in Florida. Water was only waist deep so I think I could down there lol.
