Was in the Cook Islands during Christmas and New years which was a transition time for the fish to be plentiful. We did catch a few yellow jacks and Dorado. Four of us hired a charter service to fly us to the north face of the Brooks Range in Alaska to hunt caribou and fish.We landed on a lake that had arctic char and grayling. We caught a lot of grayling but only a few nice char.
We also killed 4 nice bulls. A good place to catch grayling here in Wy is at Meadow Lake in the Wind River range. They are fun to catch on a fly rod.
yeah, Alaska is exciting I went every year in Aug for a month and fished out of Ninilchik for silvers on the rivers around there still a lot of tourists in August now I have a little place and a boat in Mexico
