Went fishing π£ in 47 degree Carnegie Lake this afternoon on a cold, cloudy day with a north wind. Caught and released 3 gizzard shad, 2 yellow perch and a 9β black crappie with dead red worms πͺ± on 4 lb test line. The fish π prefer fresh, live bait. Saw a pair of bald eagles π¦
flying together, a banded Canada goose, great egret, double crested cormorant, great blue heron, mallards π¦, gulls, doves, robins, and many fish π swirls at dusk. Ten day weather forecast predicts below normal temperatures, snow, ice, sleet, rain and clouds βοΈ on most days. Iβll probably go hunting instead of fishing π£ until warm, sunny weather arrives.
