Assuming that people steal food because they (and.or family members) cannot afford any, I would say bread.

In my town it would be pistachios. The local grocer has an open cart full and sells them by the pound. Person after person grabs a few as they walk by.

One of my favorites LIL, but let's not forget a couple of sunny side up eggs over it.

Or maybe crow. I've eat sooo much crow over the years. Yeah, I sure hope it's crow, thata way they'll steal it and Linda can't find it and won't try to feed me any more. Can you imagine eating grow for 60 years?

I love liver but I can tell you there aren't many of us. I saute/ brown onions, chicken liver, and sometimes mushrooms. I stir in chicken gravy and simmer to thicken. Then put over wide egg noodles. Very tasty.

Mistred, that sounds so good. I love liver. Chicken, calf, beef, turkey, rabbit, quail, pheasant, deer. Hadn't eat no fish liver, but I did take some Cod Liver Oil. You can de-liver me from the beer joints and you can liver me in old Virginny. But, I just don't like crow.

McDonalds will have to raise prices again. I guess not many stagers visit McDonalds but in an attempt to get Cassie to eat while in the hospital the doctor said try a milkshake. I went to McD's and got a small shake and fish sandwich for me. TEN F#@%&ING $$$$$

I remember going to McDs with four people. My father in law and I would get a fish sandwich, cheeseburger, fries and drink each. My wife and her mom would get one sandwich, fries and drink.
Four people =15 dollars back then

Ed, McDonalds may be fast food, but they aren't a discount chain any more. It took them the better part of 70+ years or so, and now they have molded the taste preferences of 3 generations, so now they can charge whatever they please. I got a shake for around $4.50 there a couple of weeks ago. It was good. So are the fries. That's it for me, I never cared for their burgers, chicken and stuff, except breakfast items, but it's all at a price point where ya might as well go sit down in a diner and meet your neighbors, have a cup o' Joe and enjoy the experience. J M O .
As far as shakes go, at home, use your blender and make a bunch of 'em with a half gallon of Ice cream, a half gallon of milk, and some vanilla extract. Around $10.00 should cover it. Cassie should enjoy that !
