As a kid my cousin and I were hooked on watching the old black and white monster movies. There was
Creature Features
Sammy Terry and
Svengoolie.
Only the later is still running.
When my wife saw her first episode of Svengoolie she was hooked also.
Every Saturday night is our date night. We were brown camouflage pants and glow in the dark Svengoolie tee shirts and eat cubed cheese and summer sausage.

CB, If you like courtroom TV, an interesting contrast to Judge Judy is Judge Caprio in Providence RI, on Facebook. It claims to be actual court footage from his real courtroom. Caprio will go to the ends of the earth to provide fair and equitable sentencing or fines, and in some cases he will not impose either, if circumstances warrant this. But when somebody tries to give him a bunch of lies/baloney, watch out. He makes Judy look like a shrinking violet in comparison.

Judge Caprio is so cool. Has a soft spot for military vets down on their luck.

DCG, I'd really like to meet this guy. No pretense or arrogance like most judges, just a guy doing his job without being a jerk. Also, I like the way he kids around with the Sheriff. They'd be a blast to hang out with...

I've seen a few episodes Judge Caprio doing traffic court.
The episodes that I remember it seems that he laughed and joked around a didn't take the infractions seriously, but like I said I've only seen a few episodes.
Was his show called Caught in Providence? Or something like that?

Cmndr., I don't know, just watched it a few times, then got interested in something else I guess. Didn't save it, but enjoyed it for a little while. Remembered his name cuz I have friends with the same family surname. Never contacted them to see if there is a connection. Now I gotta due that. These guys are from Eastern Massachusetts, so there is a strong possibility that they can give me some insights. I'll let you know if I can track them down.
