great stuff - all of them bring back memories - stepping on my sister's jacks was the WORST!

Loved the drive in movies.

I saw an old commercial online (I think an early public service announcement) that actually demonstrated how to dial a dial-phone! It was hilarious, and must have come out as they were getting away from the crank and connect models to the operators!

We would get kicked out of school for wearing them.

Yes, great memories. And also allowed to carry pocket knives at school. Much better times, I miss the America I grew up in.

I went to school in a relatively rural area and in the fall almost every student vehicle and several of the staff vehicles had a shotgun, rifle or both in the trunk or behind the seat. If someone had a particularly fancy one everyone would gather around in the parking lot to look at it. There was never a thought of anyone getting shot as that didn't happen back then.

So good to see I am in the same class as everyone ahead of me that recognizes all those captions. The card on the bike brings back the most memories.

Thanks Wulffy, the brain is flashing back as I type.

We used to put those long skinny balloons on the bike made it sound like a Harley coming down the street !

Here's a few more, Wulff

By the way, I never knew your dad was a drug dealer.

That car 54 is just like the one that I learned to drive with about 100 years ago. I relate to all of your pictures. Thanks for the memories!
