The fishing shows that I love to watch back in the day were: In-Fisherman and Bill Dance Outdoors. There were just a few available to watch and these two were the best.

I've got a video of all of Bill Dance's bonehead moves from his series, they are hilarious. Smashes a couple of rods in his tailgate, sticks one into a ceiling fan, takes a few unscheduled dips in the water, etc. No censured language, that's the biggest surprise I think. Good entertainment!

Correction : censored, not censured. Miss Brown in High School would've deducted 5 points. English Teachers are kinda picky. Our teachers were tough, and it was a Trade School ( actually called a Regional Vocational Technical School ). If you survived the freshman year, you were probably going to graduate. They deliberately over enrolled so that they could rack and stack the freshmen, and compensate for any bad decisions they may have made during the initial acceptance testing. Worked well for the school administration, and was an excellent motivational tool for the students.

A local Los Angeles tv show called Soupy Sales in the early 60’s.
He actually legally changed his name to Soupy Sales.
His sponsor was the Nifty Note Book if anyone remembers the note book.

We got him in the N. Y. area as well. Taken off the air when he pulled an r-rated joke live.

Lots of favorites, Cosby show from the 80s,
Original Saturday Night Live,
David Letterman (80’s)
I think the one that hooked me at first episode must be SpongeBob
