Amen, Butch. 👍
I heard an analogy from a preacher once, about that.
He said: Imagine you’re standing on a table, trying to pull someone up out of “the pit”. This person is resisting, and even trying to pull YOU into the pit with him. It’s much easier for him to pull you down, than it is for you to pull him up. It may be better to just let him go, until he’s ready to join you, rather than take the chance of him bringing you down.
Something to consider… Not everyone will believe. 🙏🏻

Randy that guy isn't bringing me down brother.
Karma will get him one day.

I have a great support system brother 👍😊

Yes , For the most part we’re all old , lived it , seen it and done it . So no sense of chasing a dream .
When we really have every thing we need .

Go ahead and blame God if you want - He will be the judge…
someday.
I have had two failed marriages, but God sure was not to blame.
You should be very careful about calling God a liar.

”Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”“
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

”So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”“
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I truly for sorry for you. I hope that someday you figure out your sarcasm and lack understanding that not everyone sees things as you do, becomes obvious. Maybe if I pray enough, God will give the understanding you seriously lack now.

Try and figure it out. Sheesh....

oops, this showed up on a different thread than I intended.
I'm new and haven't quite got the lay of the land.

I'm amazed at how the site has transformed into the brother n sisterhood n the support group it is today.

Look at all the friendships that would never happened otherwise.
Some don't appreciate that aspect but most do👍😊

I agree Griz. I've learned as much about life and friendships as I have about fishing. That's a good thing. Amazing how close you can be to friends you've never met and from all walks of life. It was a good choice for sure.
