Here are a few charts from the resort I go to in Canada to fish musky. The first is the historical results at the lodge since 1987 and encompasses 18017 caught muskies. The second shows catches by moon phase (a favorite topic for everyone).
Some things to note - there has not been a musky kept since the year 1999. Up in that neck of the woods, people just don't keep any muskies. Secondly, the moon phase chart is pretty even over the years, especially since the majority of musky fisherman want to book the full moon.

Thanks Fredfish. The moon chart pretty well nullifies fussing over trying to catch moon phases. I've experienced great bites on phases and next time--best of all worlds-- I fished the phase right before a thunderstorm coming in and nothing.
So maybe I shouldn't worry about them. I suppose Joe Bucher would probably debate you over it.

Hello musky/ Pike guys and Fred. I go to Robert Moses dam in Massena ny 2/3 times a year.I live in Watertown ct. I also make my own bucktails ,8-10 in.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that chases the elusive Musky
