Good one Plumbob. I got all but #16. We used to roller skate to Don McLean’s classic a lot. My goal was to remain upright the entire song because it was so long. Lol

" upright " I remember those days Beach Drummer. Funny how street skating was easier than at a rink.

A lot of memory lane threads come up here on the stage Kp. All seem to bring up such fine memories.

My first date was at a roller skating Rink.
Philis Owen's and I rode our bikes to the skating Rink and skated hand in hand all evening.
Through the years we were like brother and sister. Always there when needed by the other. We were 13 at the time. We were together all the way through college.
Philis moved away after graduation and got into a abusive relationship. Her boyfriend refused to let her see me, even though I tried.
To this day I don't know where she is, or even if she is still alive. To me she will always be my sister at heart ♥

That's probably because the street surface gave more traction than the wood floors at the rink.

Good point Bruce.

You know what didn't give good traction? Those rain water run off grates at the curb when a car was coming.

Commander there are a few web sites out there you just punch in the required info and nearly anyone can be found. Try it on your wife's name first than expand out to find Philis. With women the sites keep up with the maiden names.

Best bet Commander, is google the different sites. Just type in ( how to search for a person ) for starters.

And remember, Commander, you may leave 'tracks' when you search out someone. This can often be a good thing, but depending on circumstances, there may be a downside.
