I was fortunate enough to make a lady smile yesterday.

We went to Ollie's in Chambersburg.
Pulling in space I saw what I thought was a glass case.
Got out pick it up to find it was a card holder.
I had her license many credit cards some paper temporary license till a reg could be issued med insurance card some cash.

I was at the register the phone rang.
Clerk ask girl beside him if anyone found a card holder.

I said yeah I did n pulled it outta my pocket.
The kid said nobody found one.
I repeated I did while holding it in my hand.
He hung up. I said can you redial that #.
I have it right here.
Both said they thought I was kidding.
They called manager n she couldn't redial.
Said she'd take it n see if she could find the lady.

I told her I'd do it myself.
I knew it wouldn't get back to her.

Wake app got me there.
I turned into a narrow one way street n a car came in behind me.
Found a place to pull over.
The car behind name pulled into a space.

Got out a young lady getting outta her car I asked which was 523 didn't know.
Walked couple houses down to that lady. Asked about 523.

Her face lite up n asked are you the man that found my holder I said if you're $$ I am.
I recognized her lic pic
She hear me on the phone call n went to Ollie's.

Told her I wanted to be sure it got the the owner
A young girl standing in the doorway thanked me a couple times.

Told her I knew that sick feeling when you realized you don't have it.

Told her I was glad I could help her.
Got in truck n she said I never saw anyone find so many wallets n pocketbooks.
I said just lucky n I found the owner every time 👍
