The pink meat usually means holdover from last year or more. The are eating better than the Purina Corn Chow at the hatchery.

Just the normal color of the lake, they are all rainbows the orange meat I think is just because they are older and been in the lake longer. Yes from the bank

Nice Ranger!!! Were those from McSwain?? I read the DFW stocked 6400 pounds from Calaveras Hatchery that came back "online" recently. Nice sized "Biguns" !!! LOL

Beautiful trout. I see some nice holdovers.(red meat) all on green power bait. I'm a micetail kinda guy..but I also use Nikko baits and believe it or not z man crayfish 2.5. they float , I hook them so the hook is at the top with the line running threw the body out the middle of the bottom. That way it looks like a crayfish sitting there. I also spray it with crayfish scent.
