Indiana Fishing

Hello stagers,
I'm looking to purchase a wrist watch that is geared towards fisherman.
My search has left me very confused.
There are some that show the moon and sun phase.
There are some that show the best fishing times
There are some with fancy dials and buttons.
So what is your take on the best watch for fisherman? Or should I just get a new strap for my old analog type watch?
Thanks!

Casio makes a few different models that have the barometric pressure, temp and other features.
I use to have an early model and I really liked it.
They have made better improvements since then. I would check them out and see what you could find that you like. Good luck.

When I kept my boats in Long Island Sound, I had a digital with a tide level graph on it. Once you set it for your area, it was accurate for the year.

Yep. Now they have a lot more features than that too.

Yeah, they had barometers and moon phase ones too, but I didn't go by that stuff back when I was working. If it was the weekend, i was fishing, period. The tide watch just helped me decide where to start every day.

The obvious choice for a watch for fishermen is a waterproof one. Lol

I would go with a new strap and continue to use the apps on my phone for all of the other stuff.

Go with a Garmin Instinct, it will give you everything you need. I have one for years, it’s a great tool.
